Is it normal to sort of....black out for a week? Because last time I checked, it was still February. And now it's not.

[A pause.]

And no, I didn't drink myself stupid or anything like that for a week straight. I haven't done that in a while.

[...not that anyone asked, but he feels the need to dispel that idea.]

And even if I did, I usually don't remember things I'm pretty sure I didn't remember before.

[He's not going into detail there.]

Which brings up another question. There's no giant mascot rampages here, right? Because I really need that to not be a problem in life. Again. Ever.

And while I haven't experienced it, myself, apparently it isn't unheard of for people to fall unconscious for a week or so, then awaken with memories as though they had spent time away from here and returned again.

I believe the worst we've had have been legendary pokémon rampages, but those are fortunately rather rare.

*well to be fair, he DID have a rather eventful uneventful week*

Is it? One might say that so many people being brought here from so many different worlds is stranger in the first place...

But he's not going to be doing it again anytime soon. Probably.

And yeah, like I said, I don't remember the last week, woke up today, and remembered...a bunch of new stuff.

[And not all of it involved punching a failed professional basketball mascot.]

And I don't know. That's weird, but I guess it happens more often than you'd think.

Yeah, that's the one nice thing about this place, I guess. Doesn't matter if some jackass is going to kill the world or a guy in a bear suit's on a rampage, it just doesn't matter here.

[Which also means his fuckups and mistakes don't matter either. But he's never getting over those, so that doesn't matter.]

All that matters here is whatever Pokemon you catch or whatever stupid shit is going on this week.

It's not likely to be chronic fatigue... but that's still pretty strange.

If anything, it's happened to me a while back. Do you remember having any dreams though?

Nothing happened.

[That was a quick denial.

But yeah, nothing. His life sure didn't spin into an uncontrolled nosedive followed by Mexico adventures followed by joining a group of teenage superheroes as the grumpy old guy who doesn't want to do anything or be there.]

...A friend of mine mentioned something like that happening to him. He fell asleep only to wake up days later with memories of home.

So... odd as it is, you're not the only one.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

[Not being the only one does sort of make him feel better though. Slightly. 99.9% of his life falls under yes Kaine, you are the only one, so someone else being victim to the weird shit that happens in Pokemon land? That's a nice change for once.]

Bunch of people pulled from their world to another one for...some reason. It was before my time, so I really don't know too much about it. So it's similar that way, but different because I don't think I ever heard anything about Pokemon being there.

Yeah... just a little disoriented.

It was pretty recent, too. Sometime before Christmas.

I ended up going back somewhere I never thought I would. Somewhere I didn't really think I could go back to. And they basically welcomed me back. I've...never had that happen before. Ever.

[He didn't mean to say all of that. It's just like once he started talking he couldn't stop.]

It could have been the same thing. It's... not human to sleep for weeks on end.

I don't think anyone knows why weird stuff happens here, much less how or why we got here in the first place.
