[For the first time in a while, Kaine's making a video today to ask a question.]

Is it normal to sort of....black out for a week? Because last time I checked, it was still February. And now it's not.

[A pause.]

And no, I didn't drink myself stupid or anything like that for a week straight. I haven't done that in a while.

[...not that anyone asked, but he feels the need to dispel that idea.]

And even if I did, I usually don't remember things I'm pretty sure I didn't remember before.

[He's not going into detail there.]

Which brings up another question. There's no giant mascot rampages here, right? Because I really need that to not be a problem in life. Again. Ever.

It's not likely to be chronic fatigue... but that's still pretty strange.

[ This is still one of this world's stranger phenomena. It's something he still hasn't figured out. ]

If anything, it's happened to me a while back. Do you remember having any dreams though?

Dreams? I guess.

I mean I don't know. They seem more like memories. I'm pretty sure they actually happened.

They're way too stupid to have not been real.

...A friend of mine mentioned something like that happening to him. He fell asleep only to wake up days later with memories of home.

So... odd as it is, you're not the only one.

I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

[Not being the only one does sort of make him feel better though. Slightly. 99.9% of his life falls under yes Kaine, you are the only one, so someone else being victim to the weird shit that happens in Pokemon land? That's a nice change for once.]

Probably a good thing that you aren't alone... but bad from the fact that it's happening at all...

[ Or rather odd, if not bad. It's not like it's hurting people... but it's still pretty concerning. Oh, hey. Something he should ask. ]

I really wouldn't worry too much though. I mean... you're okay? Nothing's hurt? You don't feel weird?

Slightly confused but other than that, I think I'm fine.

That happened to me a while back too but... I didn't have any memories of home.

So then you just blacked out for a week?

I wouldn't really call it just blacking out.

[ Definitely nothing that complicated. ]

I'd... gone to bed and when I woke up, two weeks passed.

Two weeks?

[One week is bad, but two, that's uh...a lot worse.]

Were you okay?

Yeah... just a little disoriented.

[ And kind of sore but there's only so much a single chansey can do to prevent bed sores. ]

It was pretty recent, too. Sometime before Christmas.

Weird. So was it the same thing that happened to me, or something else?

It could have been the same thing. It's... not human to sleep for weeks on end.

[ It's still something he's trying to figure out. ]

I don't think anyone knows why weird stuff happens here, much less how or why we got here in the first place.

Well, that's just great. So besides all the other shit to worry about here, I can add random comas to my list too.

I don't think it's something you need to worry about too much.

It doesn't seem to happen all that often though. In general.

If you don't mind, by the way... I'd like to hear from you again if you feel any side effects that could be related. Or if it happens again.

[ Because really, it makes no sense and this kid's determined to get to the bottom of it. ]

[He's quiet for a moment because uh...he doesn't really do well with stuff like that. Too many people back home that want to poke around with medical stuff and see what's up with him.
