[Kaine's on the network today, looking a little grumpy which isn't new, and there's something he wants to talk about.

Well, a few things actually, but time will tell how much of it he actually says to anyone.

Also behind him on a table are one of those bags from the Pokemon Center and his Natu is sort of hopping around it and occasionally pecking at the bag, trying to get at whatever's inside it.]

So, these bags at the Pokemon Centers. Anyone in Pewter want to trade? Picked one up today, checked out what was in it...and I figure somebody else would probably appreciate what's in there more than I do.

[In the background, Natu has managed to get her head inside the bag, which is slightly impressive given that it's basically a giant head with tiny feet.]

Also those of you who went out there and did stuff...thanks.

[And while Kaine attempts to thank everybody for helping to save the world, Natu emerges from the bag with this somehow placed perfectly on her head. Which is one of the main reasons he wants to trade.]

[ Have a brow raised at the hat though. ]

Wager it'd be that you'd be looking to get rid of, eh?

It'd be what? Wait, what are you talking about?

[He has no clue Natu got into the bag, and is currently hopping around with the panda hat on her head.]

[ There's a motion as he points at the Natu's hopping around with the hat. ]

Either the hat or the bird?

[theotherother]

[He'll just look behind him and...]

Damn it, get out of there!

[A failed attempt to snatch the hat away ensues before a grumbling Kaine returns to the camera.]

Yeah, that's the reason. The hat, not the bird. The bird's okay, just a giant pain in the ass sometimes. Like now.

[He turns back to give it a dirty look, which is basically ignored as it continues playing with the hat.]

[ There's a small snicker though. ]

Looks like he very well fancies the hat more'n you do.

[ But he'll stop chuckling over Kaine's plight a moment. ]

What'll you have for it though? I'm afraid I've gotten a touch attached to what I've got in mine though.

It's a she.

[Why he's correcting that, he really has no idea, but whatever.]

And I don't know, I was just hoping to trade bags with somebody. If she's attached to it though, it's probably not going to work out.

[He's gotten pecked so many times trying to take things away from her that it's almost not worth trying at this point. Though for some reason he still tries.]

Look at it this way: if she likes it, then you prolly won't have to wear it, eh?

[ Because really, that's too cute. ]

Does she do that often?

No, this is new. But her been annoying isn't really.

[He sighs.]

One time she took my pack and made me chase her into the stupid Viridian Forest. Didn't catch up with her until I was more than halfway through the damn thing.

[diehardreaper]

Blimey, she's a cheeky sort, isn't she? Goes to show they come in all types like people do.

[ Have a small laugh. ]

She'd prolly throw a fit if you trade the hat away, seeing as she's so fond of the thing though? Might be a better move to just give it to her.

Yeah. That's probably what I'm going to do. Not like I have much of a choice now anyway.

[diehardreaper]

Looks that way.

[ A small grin. ]

By the by, what're your names then? You and that bird.

[theotherother]

Kaine. My name's Kaine. The bird...

[...uh, he hasn't actually mentioned this to anyone yet, so this'll be a first.]

Her name's Aracely. Because she reminds me of someone back home. The bird's more of a pain in the ass than she is though. Probably.

She'd prolly take that as a compliment if she ever comes here.

Well, best of British to the both of you then! Fancy a bird like that's thought it best to stay with you. Could be stuck with her, mate.

Yeah, she probably would.

[But enough about that for now.]

[He doesn't have the slightest idea what that means.]

Ah... S'just a figure of speech, really! Just wishing you fair fortune, is all!

[ Whoops. ]

[Okay then.]

Thanks, but the only luck I seem to attract is bad luck. Pretty sure it's genetic too.

[ He'll be enthusiastic for you. Plenty of that to go around. ]

Yeah, maybe.

[If he doesn't sound convinced it's...because he's not convinced.]

Probably going to turn around right off a cliff.
